WTF HAPPENED to the stock market THIS WEEK? 🗞️💁🏻‍♀️

Last week, the US stock indexes experienced another slight decline, making it the second consecutive week of dips. This follows a four-month period of growth, with the S&P 500 rising in 16 out of the last 18 weeks.

The Fear & Greed index, which reflects the prevailing emotion in the market, remains in the greed zone.

What does it mean?

In a market where many investors are feeling really positive, they might be tempted to invest in riskier options. However, it's important to remember that the market can be unpredictable, as shown by the demand for safer investments like bonds. So, while it's okay to explore new opportunities, it's crucial to be cautious and spread out investments to lower potential risks.

📈 The darling of the market Nvidia continues to do the most

🫰 Bitcoin reached a new all-time high of $73k last week Wednesday but today sits at $67k. Cryptocurrency can be quite volatile, so this is something to keep an eye on. So far this year, Bitcoin has gone up by more than 60%.

📈 Reddit's upcoming IPO is generating a lot of interest, with demand exceeding available shares by four to five times. The company is aiming for a value of $6.5 billion, and while high interest doesn't guarantee immediate success, it indicates potential for Reddit to reach its target share price of $31 to $34 during the New York IPO on Wednesday.

🏦 Mubadala Investment Co. plans to raise about $1 billion with its first-ever dollar-based Islamic bond sale, tapping into growing interest from investors in this type of investment. Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC, First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC, and HSBC Holdings Plc will work together globally for this bond sale, following Sharia principles.

The sale, expected to happen in March, aims to take advantage of the current market conditions. Although the parties involved haven't commented publicly, this move comes after Saudi Arabia's successful issuance of a $2 billion Islamic bond.
